What data we collect
We collect the data you voluntarily provide through the forms on this site: name, company, role, email, phone and the description of the challenge you share with us. We also collect aggregated technical usage data such as pages visited and traffic source.
What we use it for
We use your data to respond to your request, prepare proposals, send material you asked for and, where you expressly agree, send our monthly email. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent, where given, on our legitimate interest in responding to commercial enquiries addressed to us, and on taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
How long we keep it
We keep commercial contact data for as long as the relationship requires and, at most, three years after the last contact, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
Processors
We use hosting, email delivery and analytics providers acting as processors, bound by confidentiality and security obligations. Wherever possible we favour data hosting within the European Union.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification of, erasure of, restriction of or portability of your data, and object to processing, by writing to hello@softadvice.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
